0Footbag Tour Featured on Sports Doing Good
The Sport/Life European Footbag Tour was featured on the weekly newsletter Sports Doing Good, which features the good happening throughout the sports world.
Edition number 108 took a look at the athletes featured on TIME Magazine’s list of most influential people. While no footbag players made that list, the members of the tour, who are currently in Gdansk, Poland, featured a mention in the top 10 good news sports stories of the week.

The tour, which is now coming to an end, has traveled through five countries, with five of the world’s best players competing at major events, as well as giving demonstrations to children in schools. Planetfootbag have been key contributors to the tour, while the team joined forces with the Gorilla Project in Switzerland.

The players on the tour are now preparing for the final event, the Dzem Jam, which will give the official welcome to Caroline Birch as owner of the Happy Seven Hostel. As explained in the interview on BSOS.IT, Caroline has plans to make Gdansk the hub of footbag, with plenty of reasons for players to stay long term.
