4Bulgaria to Host 2018 World Footbag Championships
Sofia in Bulgaria will play host to the World Footbag Championships. It is the first time Bulgaria will play host, following on from Euros in 2015. The tournament will run from July 22-29
After returning to the roots of the sport in Portland, USA, the World Footbag Championships will break new ground, with Bulgaria hosting for the first time. The event will be hosted by the Urban Komba Footbag Club. It will be the 39th edition of the World Footbag Championships.
Freestyle and Net competitions will be held in different venues in early rounds before joining together in the recently renovated Sofia Hall, which held the competitions for the Euros. This year’s European Footbag Championships will also be in a new destination, with Slovenia hosting for the first time.
