Turkish delight for basketball star Morrison

Chile´s top women´s basketball player Ziomara Morrison is preparing for a new challenge in the Turkish League.
The 25-year-old has signed for Besiktas, who will feature in the Eurocup in the 2014-15 season.
Last season Morrison shone for Ceyhan Belediyespor in Turkey. She was ranked seventh in the league in scoring and sixth in rebounds.
She also averaged one block per game in what is often regarded as the most competitive league in Europe.
Morrison had originally hoped to play for the Indiana Fever in the WNBA this season, but wasn´t signed up following their pre-season training camp.
Since then, she´s been back on duty in Chile. Firstly, she played for Universidad Austral in the South American Club Championships in Ecuador and, lately, she´s been playing for Colegio Los Leones in the Liga Nacional Feminina.
The 6ft 4ins centre is having a busy year. In March, she played a starring role as Chile earned the silver medal in the South American Games in Santiago.
Meanwhile, New Crusaders earned top spot in the Liga Nacional Femenina Centre North Zone with a crushing 82-25 victory against Brisas in Valparaíso on Sunday.
New Crusaders and Colegio Los Leones have qualified for the cuadrangular final from the Centre North Zone, while Puerto Montt and Deportes Castro were the top two in the South Zone.
The cuadrangular final to decide the top team in the country will take place at the Centro de Entrenamiento Olímpico II (CEO 2) in Santiago from July 4 to 6.
