0Trio bid to continue perfect Libcentro start
Colegio Los Leones, Colo Colo and Universidad de Concepción seek to extend their 100 per cent records in the Libcentro basketball competition this weekend.
Colegio Los Leones seek to make it five wins on the spin when they visit Árabe Valparaíso tomorrow night (8pm), while Colo Colo seek their fourth straight success when they host Sergio Ceppi at Boston College on Sunday (7pm).
Universidad de Concepción have won their opening three fixtues and will be out to make it four when they host Alemán Concepción in a local derby on Saturday evening (8pm).
The only other team with a 100 per cent record are Municipal Puente Alto, but they sit out this weekend´s round of fixtures.
Colegio Los Leones lead the way in Zone A. The other matches in this group this weekend are Arturo Prat v Sportiva Italiana (Sat, 8pm) and Sagrados Corazones v San Luis de Quillota (Sun, 7pm).
Colo Colo are the Zone B pacesetters. In the other match this weekend, Universidad Católica bid to put last week´s defeat against Colo Colo behind them when they host winless Club Providencia (Sat, 8pm).
Municipal Puente Alto are in pole position in Zone C. While they put their feet up this weekend, Stadio Italiano host Boston College (Sat, 8pm) and Santiago INBA entertain Brisas (Sat, 8pm).
Español Talca head Zone D, but they aren´t in action this weekend. Aside from the Concepción derby, Tinguiririca take on Árabe Rancagua in San Fernando (Sat, 8pm).
