0Kind draw for Chilean four in Copa Sudamericana
Chile´s Copa Sudamericana qualifiers will face rivals from Bolivia, Paraguay and Uruguay in the first round of the competition.
That was the outcome of the draw in Buenos Aires and it gives the Chilean teams every opportunity to make progress.
Huachipato have been drawn against Bolivia´s San Jose. The acereros will play the first leg at home before travelling to Oruro for the return.
If Huachipato win through, they will face Ecuador´s Universidad Católica or Venezuela´s Deportivo Anzoátegui in the second round.
Deportes Iquique also face Bolivian opposition. They travel to Sucre to meet Universitario in the first leg and then have the return at the Tierra de Campeones.
The victors face Colombia´s Millonarios or Peru´s César Vallejo in round two.
Cobresal´s reward for winning the Liguilla is a tie against little-known Paraguayan club General Díaz. Cobresal go to Asunción first before closing the tie at home. It´s both teams´ debut in the Copa Sudamericana.
The winners play Colombia´s Atlético Nacional or Venezuela 4 in the second round.
Meanwhile, Universidad Católica must wait to see whether they face Uruguay´s River Plate or Danubio. The Cruzados will play the first leg at home.
If they get through, their second round opponents will be either Ecuador´s Emelec or Colombia´s Itaguí.
The competition begins in the week of August 20.
