Spooky Shred Off

 

We’ve got some competition action in October thanks to Derek Littlefield. The Spook Shredoff will take off where we finished in the “Shred Off” format for the online Worlds event.

Hey, all! In cooperation with @mceggbeats, we’re hosting a spooky shred-off style online throwdown! It will feature both intermediate and open level competition, with two rounds each lasting 2 weeks. Prizes so far include bags for both first and second place finishers in both categories (contact us if you’re interested in sponsoring more prizes to make this a throwdown to remember!). Here’s the breakdown: – -Round 1 (10/1 – 10/14 at 4 PM EST): Intermediate 45 seconds, Open 60 seconds -Voting 1 (10/15 – 10/17 at 11:59 PM EST): Vote on Facebook (Freestyle Footbag group page), Instagram (@theparadoxsymposium), and Discord (message for invite if needed). Each player may vote once per platform, no voting for yourself. Number of players advancing will be determined by participation. -Round 2 (10/18 – 10/31 at 11:59 PM EST): Intermediate 90 seconds, Open 120 seconds -Final Voting (11/1 – 11/3 at 11:59 PM EST): Same as Voting 1 above. – We’d love for you all to enter regardless of ability or quality of play! This is for fun and to give everyone a little more footage to keep them motivated. Since this is a spooky throwdown, elements of costume are encouraged, but not required (we’d love for someone to sponsor a “Best Costume” prize). Virtually no rules other than don’t vote for yourself and please use new footage (we will not be requiring a codeword verification).
