Chile Prepares for Superclásico

Universidad de Chile and Colo Colo will once again come together for the most heated clash on Chile’s sporting calendar. La Tercera marks some of the classic moments during the long and heated battles.

The match has been moved to midday due to security concerns, bringing the original time back from a late afternoon kickoff.

The last meeting ended with both goalkeepers being sent off in incidents after the final whistle. Colo Colo suffered two of their worst defeats in the 2012 Apertura, with a 5-0 crushing during the season and a 4-0 in the semi-finals.

While Colo Colo are no longer in contention for the title, they will be doing their best to add another clásico victory and to knock their arch rivals out of the title race.
