0Shooters couldn’t target medals in Munich
They gave it their best shot, but Chile´s shooters found it tough going in the ISSF World Cup in Munich.
In the women´s trap, Pamela Salman produced a creditable performance to take 22nd place with a score of 69 (21, 24, 24).
Compatriot Francisca Crovetto had to settle for 31st place in the skeet competition. She had scores of 22, 23 and 21 hits in the competition to make a final score of 66.
Three-time Olympic champion Kimberly Rhode won gold as the United States swept the medals.
In the men´s ranks, Manuel Sanchez finished 33rd in the 10 metres air pistol competition with a score of 576.
Jorge Atalah came 72nd in the men´s skeet with a final score of 116 hits, while team-mate Jesus Luis Rodriguez was 99th with 111. The Czech Republic´s Jan Sychra claimed gold.
