COBS lead the away day winners

It proved a tale of away day success in the fourth round of the Torneo de Apertura rugby.

COBS, Stade Francais, Alumni and Universidad Católica all won on the road in the Arusa competition to make it a miserable day for the home sides.

Table-topping COBS eased to a 48-26 success at Old Georgians, who lie second bottom with just one win from four matches.

Stade built on last week´s victory against Universidad Católica with a hard-fought 27-20 win at bottom club Country Club, who are the only team without a win.

Alumni ran out 39-24 victors at Old Boys, while Católica got back to winning ways with an important 27-21 success at Old Reds.

COBS, Stade and Alumni share top spot in the table with 15 points, though the Craighouse Old Boys lead the way courtesy of their better points difference.

Católica, Old Boys and Old Reds all have ten points, while Old Georgians (7) and Country Club (3) are the back markers.

The teams take a break for Easter next weekend. They are back in action on Saturday, April 26.

The pick of the matches sees leaders COBS visit Católica. Stade and Alumni will be big favourites to beat Old Georgians and Country Club respectively at home, while Old Boys take on Old Reds.
