Within 20 minutes of Ovalle in the fourth region, there are several places that are well worth trying.
If you want to climb steep-sided tracks and roar down the other side, there will be something for you. The bonus is that the scenery is spectacular, too.
The mountains surround you and the panoramic view is worth the visit alone. Throw in the cactus plants that abound in the dry fourth region and there are endless photo opportunities.
