In-form Carvallo impresses again

Valentina Carvallo earned an excellent sixth place in the Ironman 70.3 of Racine, Wisconsin.
The Chilean triathlete clocked 4 hours, 28 minutes and 26 seconds over the course of 1,900m of swimming, 90km of cycling and 21km of running.
The result confirmed Carvallo´s good form as the week before she had also finished in the top ten in the Vineman race.
However, there is still plenty of room for improvement. Australia´s world champion Melissa Hauschildt came first with an exceptional time of 4.11.52, finishing four and a half minutes ahead of Denmark´s Helle Frederiksen.
