Sport/Life Presents Fearless Challenge

With excitement building about the European Footbag Tour, Sport/Life presents an online footbag competition for players around the world.

Sport/Life presents to you, a freestyle footbag challenge! All footbag players are invited to compete, to try and hit as many unique 5 add tricks in a row as possible. Rules: Players will be judged only with a video resolution of 720p, at 25 frames per second or higher. The combo will only be counted if each trick is within the video frame and visible. Additional add components such as X-dex and X-spin will not be counted. Upload your video onto Youtube with the title “Your Name Sport/Life Fearless Challenge”, and respond to this posting to submit your video.

All contestants are encouraged to submit an entry, since every submission is capable of winning a prize! Videos must be filmed during the contest period (February 25-March 25).

The structure is as follows. 1.) The first person to hit 25 Fearless, gets a cash prize of $100 USD, a Fourkast Footbag product, as well as their choice of a Planetfootbag product! All contestants have 1 month to achieve this, from February 25 to March 25.

2.) The person who hits the most fearless overall, regardless of the 25 fearless, will also get a prize of $100 USD, and a Planetfootbag donated prize. All contestants have 1 month to achieve this, from February 25 to March 25.

3.) Any player who submits 5+ Fearless, will be in a random raffle to receive a 32 Panel Footbag made by Jay Boychuk! All contestants have 1 month to achieve this, from February 25 to March 25.

Submissions will be judged for cleanliness by Jay Boychuk, and verified by Daniel Boyle. Let the games begin!

The main purpose of the competition is to have the world’s best players having their best unique fearless combinations on film, as well as giving the opportunity for players around the world to improve their fearless record, as well as build excitement for the European tour, which will begin in late March.

The video above is one of the best fearless videos currently available, with Aleksi Airinen and Anssi Sundberg both hitting 20 fearless “side by side”, in a video edited by tour manager Jay Boychuk.

Submissions are welcome until midnight in your local time on March 25. Winners will be announced on the opening day of the European Footbag Tour.
