González leaps to another gold

Teenage starlet Valentina González has scooped gold and silver medals in the Panamerican Water-Skiing Championships in Medellin.

Colombia – The 15-year-old showed her talent by winning the gold medal in jumps at the South American Games in Santiago last month.

And in the juvenile section, González triumphed in the Pan American competition with a leap of 35.3 metres. This was enough to overcome Canada´s Dominique Grondin (33.8) and Geneva Roach (31.2).

González also picked up silver in the overall competition, only being beaten by the USA´s Brooke Baldwin.
