Berlin’s FC Footstar Footbag Club to Celebrate 20 Years
The 20th anniversary celebration event will be held in Berlin from May 10-13, with the jam covering a number of spots throughout the city.
There will be no formal competition, with the focus on plenty of play at celebrations as well. Among the venues will be the classic Treptower Park, the scene of many footbag videos throughout the years.
The schedule is as follows
- Thursday, May 10th
14.00: Session at Spreebogenpark, close to Central Station
21:00: Opening Party at Morphin Bar - Friday, May 11th
12.00: Session at Volkspark Friedrichshain
23.00: Party at Rosi’s - Saturday, May 12th
12.00: Session at Treptower Park
22.00: Party t.b.a. - Sunday, May 13th
12.00: Session at Eastside Gallery
Over the 20 years, FC Footstar has remained an important club in Europe, and throughout the world. In 2009, Berlin hosted the World Footbag Championships, regarded by many as the best Worlds of all time.
